Dreams have a habit of changing!

It has been a while since my last post.  There have been a lot of changes.  Things are becoming a lot more exciting!  We will be moving to Nova Scotia on April 19, 2012.  It will be a long trip across Canada as we have family to visit along the way.  It feels like we are heading off on an exciting adventure. 

Dreams do have a habit of changing, and ours have changed in a great way.

We are thrilled that our daughter Leanne and her partner Matt have decided to make the move with us!

We are now moving to Shelburne, Nova Scotia for the first year.  We have a great building there that we are planning to turn into a Bistro/Gallery. We will get things going, then Leanne and Matt will manage the business! 

We have a lot of work to do to get everything ready.  Cleaning, painting, decorating, kitchen set up, and the list goes on.  With four of us out there working, it should go fast and we hope to be ready for July. 

Shelburne is a wonderful, small community on the south shore of Nova Scotia.  It has a strong arts community which is important to me.  We will learn how to sail in the harbor, and hope to get involved with the Yacht Club.  The beach at Lockport is amazing and I know we will be walking along it as much as we can.  Shelburne has a historic waterfront, and it is often used in movies.  "The Scarlet Letter" starring Demi Moore was filmed there.  The history of the area is amazing! 

Although the Grand River adventure is on hold for a while, it is not forgotten!
